Pay & Benefits:

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide 24-hour urology call coverage at St. Marys Hospital Madison, a designated Level II Trauma Center
  • Handle approximately 1-5 cases per call shift, including general urology surgeries and procedures
  • Perform procedures such as stent placements, ureteroscopy, stone treatments/removals, and related surgeries
  • Collaborate with hospital staff to deliver quality patient care for adult patients (ages 18+)
  • Document patient encounters using EPIC EMR system
  • Respond to emergent urology cases during scheduled shifts and call periods
  • Maintain and demonstrate strong general urology surgical skills and judgment


What You Need:
  • Required:
    • MD/DO license for Wisconsin or willingness to obtain
    • Board certification in Urology
    • Completion of Urology residency (may be in fellowship if permitted)
    • General urology surgical skills: stent placement, ureteroscopy, stone removal, and related procedures
  • Preferred:
    • Urology fellowship (if permitted) under residency guidelines
    • Prior experience in hospital-based urology care
