What You’ll Do:
  • Assist with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries, including CABG, vein and artery harvesting, and intra-aortic balloon pump management
  • Participate in hospital rounding, elective and emergent surgeries, and outpatient clinics
  • Remove chest tubes, pulmonary artery catheters, epicardial wires, and other invasive devices
  • Support surgical team through pre-operative and post-operative care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
  • Provide call coverage, including nights, weekends, and 24-hour shifts

What You Need:
  • Ohio medical license and current CNS/PA certification
  • 1+ year of surgical experience, ideally in cardiac or thoracic settings
  • Skills in removal of epicardial wires, chest tubes, pulmonary artery catheters, and intra-aortic balloon pumps
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
