Physician - Gastroenterology

Established Gastroenterology Position 

Adena Health System is seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to join an established gastroenterology practice located on the hospitals campus. This is an excellent opportunity to build a thriving practice while joining a collaborative team committed to providing high-quality care to the community.

THE OPPORTUNITY

• Join one experienced gastroenterologist and two nurse practitioners
• Immediate patient demand, with appointments currently scheduling 3–4 months out
• General gastroenterology opportunity with strong potential for procedural growth
• ERCP and EUS expertise highly desirable
• Physician call schedule 1:4
• Call radius of approximately one hour

PRACTICE AND FACILITIES

• Located on the campus 
• Nine exam rooms and one procedure room
• Three endoscopy suites
• Newly renovated Endoscopy area
• Block scheduling
• Dedicated procedural/surgical day
• Conscious sedation

CLINICAL ENVIRONMENT

• Current gastroenterologist sees approximately 15–20 patients per clinic day
• Nurse practitioners see their own patients and provide hospital follow-up care
• Established hospital, referral, and procedural support
• Strong opportunity for immediate practice growth
• Collaborative relationship among Gastroenterologist and General Surgeons

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist
• Interested in a broad mix of gastroenterology services
• ERCP and EUS skills preferred, but not required
• Committed to high-quality, patient-centered care
• Collaborative and team-oriented
• Willing to participate in a shared call schedule
