St. Joseph's Health Medical Group is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Outpatient Orthopedic Practice in Fayetteville, NY.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative orthopedic team in a busy outpatient setting, caring for patients across a broad range of orthopedic specialties, including total joints, hand, sports medicine, and general orthopedics. The role focuses primarily on post-operative follow-up visits and walk-in orthopedic care, with strong physician support and mentorship available.

Position Details:

  • Monday-Friday schedule with no evenings, weekends, or call
  • Hospital-employed position with strong clinical and administrative support
  • Manage primarily post-operative patients and orthopedic walk-in visits
  • Exposure to a wide variety of orthopedic conditions, including total joint, hand, sports medicine, and general orthopedic cases
  • Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, clinical staff, and fellow advanced practice providers
  • Deliver comprehensive orthopedic patient care, including evaluations, follow-up visits, and treatment planning
  • Educate patients and families, coordinate treatment plans, and order/interpret diagnostic testing as appropriate
  • Practice in a fast-paced outpatient environment focused on teamwork and high-quality patient care

Requirements:

  • NYS licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • DEA certification
  • ACLS/BLS certification
  • Interest or experience in Orthopedics

Compensation:

  • Competitive salary range: $141,363.00 - $166,400.00
  • Starting bonus: $5,000
  • The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include potential productivity bonuses, quality performance incentives, or other forms of cash compensation. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, and market factors in accordance with State law.
