What You’ll Do
- Provide inpatient cardiology consults and rounding in adult patients
- Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, Holter, and event monitors
- Manage conditions like heart failure, chest pain, arrhythmias, hypertension, and valve disease
- Collaborate with APPs, intensivists, RNs, and imaging technicians
- Support clinic operations with follow-ups and consults (with a focus on consults)
- Participate in on-call duties: one weeknight and one weekend per 7-day cycle
- Document efficiently within EPIC EMR system
- Assist in supervision of APPs and support team collaboration
What You Need
- Board Certified in Cardiology (MD/DO)
- Fellowship in General Cardiology; Cardiac Imaging preferred
- Wisconsin medical license or eligibility
- BLS & ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inpatient cardiology
- Ability to supervise APPs
