FRESNO Shoulder/Elbow or Hand
The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Hand or Upper Extremity Surgeon to join our collegial team in Fresno. Position Highlights
- Team Composition: 8 surgeons 2 Hand, 2 Total Joint, 2 Sports, 1 Trauma), 1 Non-op Sports
- Collaborative Model: Work closely with 6 experienced Physician Assistants
- Surgical Focus: Elective Shoulder/ Elbow/ Hand Surgery Practice. Procedures can be done in Main OR surgical suite vs. Procedure time in the clinic for appropriate cases.
- OR Time: 3-4 days per month + additional Elective Procedure time in the office.
- Call Schedule: ~3-4 days per month (Community level trauma)
Practice Environment
- Supportive Infrastructure: Large support teams for surgical coordination including Medical Assistants, Surgical Schedulers, Hand Therapists, Surgical assistants, and clinic support staff capable of assisting in office-based procedures.
- Educational and Leadership Opportunities: Rotation Site for medical students from California Health Sciences University. Opportunities to get involved with medical student training, research, regional projects and collaboration, and leadership.

Requirements:
- Board Certification or Eligibility
- Must be eligible to obtain a CA medical license or be currently licensed to practice within CA

Full-time annual salary range is $640,200 to $660,000 plus additional potential incentives up to $83,270*. Reduced schedules with pro-rated compensation may be available. *Some incentive opportunities are estimates based on potential premium pay.
