Advanced Practice Provider - Lung Nodule Program

HonorHealth is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Lung Nodule Program in the greater Phoenix/Scottsdale area.
This is a full-time, Monday-Friday outpatient clinic position focused on evaluating and managing patients with lung nodules and abnormal chest imaging. The APP will work closely with Interventional Pulmonology, Thoracic Surgery, Oncology, Nurse Navigators, and Lung Nodule Program Coordinators to determine appropriate next steps in care.
Position Highlights
- Full-time, Monday-Friday outpatient schedule
- Evaluate patients with lung nodules and abnormal chest imaging
- Determine appropriate follow-up, including imaging surveillance, additional diagnostic testing, or referral for biopsy/intervention
- Review imaging, pathology, pulmonary testing, and other relevant clinical information
- Coordinate care across Interventional Pulmonology, Thoracic Surgery, Oncology, and other specialties
- Provide patient education and ensure timely follow-up and continuity of care
- Opportunity to develop specialized expertise in lung nodule evaluation and early detection
Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- 1-2+ years of clinical experience preferred
- Experience in pulmonology, thoracic surgery, oncology, internal medicine, hospital medicine, ICU, or a related specialty preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, medical decision-making, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
