What You’ll Do:
  • Provide labor and delivery coverage, including routine management and emergency gynecologic consults
  • Perform cesarean sections and vaginal deliveries
  • Conduct postpartum rounding and contribute to patient care in a hospital setting
  • Support staff and collaborate with hospital team members
  • Support patient volume of 500–600 births annually
  • Document thoroughly using EPIC EMR system
  • Float to other sites as needed, including Janesville, Baraboo, Monroe Clinic, and Madison

What You Need:
  • MD or DO license (IMLC accepted)
  • Board certification in OB-GYN
  • Active BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Willing to work 24-hour shifts with some on-call responsibilities
  • Ability to support high-quality patient care and emergency gynecologic procedures

About the Assignment:
This assignment is based at a hospital in Monroe, Wisconsin, focusing primarily on labor and delivery. The provider will support approximately 8-10 shifts per month, handling routine deliveries, cesarean sections, postpartum rounding, and limited high-risk obstetrics. The role involves working with a dedicated team, utilizing EPIC for documentation, and supporting patient needs in a busy healthcare environment.
