About Rural Physicians Group
Rural Physicians Group exists to keep quality care close to home — because We Keep Local Patients Local®. For more than 20 years, we’ve partnered with critical access and community hospitals as a dedicated service-line management organization, placing full-time, on-site physicians, surgeons, and advanced practice providers who become a true part of the communities they serve. We’re not a stopgap or a rotating locums fix — we build lasting clinical teams that give rural hospitals the continuity and confidence to care for more patients, closer to home.
Our model changes what’s possible for a rural hospital. When patients don’t have to be transferred hours away, outcomes improve and trust grows. Better outcomes lead to expanded services, expanded services revitalize the hospital, and a revitalized hospital strengthens the entire community. It’s a proven, effective solution to a complex problem facing more than 1,300 rural hospitals across the country — and it’s the way rural medicine should be.
