The Opportunity
- Interpret a broad range of imaging studies, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, general radiography, fluoroscopy, and nuclear medicine, based on clinical privileges.
- Review imaging requests, establish appropriate protocols, and provide clinical oversight of image quality and contrast administration.
- Participate in quality assurance, peer review, accreditation activities, and multidisciplinary conferences.
- Collaborate with referring providers and clinical teams to support timely diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
- Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and trainees through the Miami VA's academic affiliations.
- Contribute to quality improvement and the continued growth of the Diagnostic Imaging Service.
