Covenant Health Oncology Group is seeking an Oncology Hospitalist to provide comprehensive inpatient care for adults with solid tumor and hematologic malignancies. This role will focus on the acute management of hospitalized oncology patients, treatment related complications, and coordination with oncology subspecialists to ensure seamless transitions of care.
The Oncology Hospitalist will benefit from:

- Dedicated full-time inpatient APP to support patient care
- Close collaboration with medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, palliative care, pharmacy and nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inpatient Oncology Management Diagnose and treat acute issues including neutropenic fever, tumor lysis syndrome, sepsis, pain crises, and treatment toxicities.
- Admissions & Rounds Perform admissions, daily rounds, and discharge planning for oncology patients.
- Communication & Documentation Maintain clear communication with outpatient oncologists and provide timely documentation.
- Quality & Safety Participate in quality initiatives, morbidity and mortality reviews, and evidence?based protocol development.
- Teaching & Mentorship Involvement in APP education.
Qualifications:
- MD/DO license and eligible for Tennessee licensure
- Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency
- Board Certified/Board Eligible
- Strong interest in inpatient oncology preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Comfort managing high-acuity patients

- 7 on/7 off
- Monday through Sunday
- 7am-5pm
