Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care

Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers is seeking a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner to join our established Immediate Care team at our Ridge Road location in Channahon.

You'll care for patients of all ages, treat a wide variety of illnesses and injuries, and perform hands-on procedures while helping ensure patients throughout this growing community have access to high-quality care close to home.

Practice:

• Full-time position based at our Ridge Road Immediate Care Center in Channahon
• Care for patients of all ages in a fast-paced, procedure-oriented setting
• Every-other-weekend rotation
• No call responsibilities
• Broad case mix including acute illnesses, minor injuries, fractures, lacerations, skin conditions, dehydration, and more
• Perform procedures including suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and foreign body removal
• Occupational Medicine is part of the practice
• On-site lab and X-ray with access to advanced imaging and hospital-based services
• Opportunity to practice with independence while making a direct impact on access to care in Channahon and the surrounding communities

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
• Eligible for Illinois APRN licensure
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• DOT certification required prior to start
• Comfortable with suturing and common urgent care procedures
• Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or similar acute care experience preferred
