Vermont Orthopaedic Clinic is recruiting for a full-time, nonoperative interventional spine physician in the heart of the Green Mountains. We are looking for a physiatrist to join our outpatient Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and multidisciplinary SpineCare program.
Patient population practice will see all ages, but primarily adult. This is a Monday – Friday position, with patient hours scheduled in a 40-hour work week. There is no formal call.
Practice does not require opioid prescription or management.
We are looking for an MD or DO candidate who has completed a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency. Board certification/Board eligibility required. Fellowship training or commensurate experience in spinal procedures mandatory. Eligibility for Vermont medical license required. Our SpineCare team includes a fellowsip trained orthopaedic spine surgeon, osteopathic physiatrist, and an experienced physician assistant. We are also actively recruiting to replace our health psychologist, who is embedded in our clinic.
Rutland is next door to Killington/Pico Resort and the Long Trail. Enjoy the longest ski season in the east as well as world-class mountain and gravel biking, golfing, fly fishing and hiking.
