What You’ll Do:
- Provide solo emergency room coverage in a high-volume hospital setting
- Manage an open ICU in a fast-paced environment with an average of 90-100 patients daily
- Accurately evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of emergency conditions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Utilize Meditech EMR system efficiently for documentation and coordination
- Maintain compliance with all medical and hospital policies
- Engage in continuous quality improvement efforts
What You Need:
- Active NC medical license and current enrollment in PECOS
- NC Medicaid credentialing required
- Proven emergency medicine experience in a hospital setting (recommended 18-20 patients per shift)
- Strong clinical skills in acute patient management
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to shift schedules
