What You’ll Do
- Provide labor and delivery coverage, including routine management, cesarean sections, and vaginal deliveries
- Conduct postpartum rounds and emergency gynecological consults as needed
- Collaborate with support staff to deliver compassionate maternal care
- Support hospital's OB/GYN department in a community-focused setting
- Support staff: CNM; no high-risk obstetrics involved
- Document patient care using EMR (EPIC)
What You Need
Required: - MD/DO license and Board Certification
- Minimum 1-2 years of obstetrics experience
- BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
- DEA registration
- Willing to support approximately 15-20 shifts per month, including weekends
Preferred: - Experience with routine labor management, c-section, vaginal delivery
- Flexibility to float to other sites including Janesville, Monroe Clinic, Madison, and surrounding areas

The role involves managing approximately 120 births annually, performing routine obstetric procedures, and providing postpartum and emergency gynecological care. The facility does not handle high-risk pregnancies, and the schedule requires coverage through a combination of weekday and weekend shifts.
