Indiana University Health Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Orthopedic team in Bloomington, IN.

Position Details:

  • Full-Time Days
    • Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri
    • 40 hours/week-4-10 hours days (may not be exact schedule)
  • Call is not required. However, there may be opportunity to cross train for orthopedic inpatient coverage, if desired.
  • 10% Inpatient
  • 90% Outpatient

Procedures:

  • First Assist in surgery, Joint Injections, Joint Fracture reductions, other procedures

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform independently in the sports medicine clinic to support current physicians/practice
  • Provider will see new patients, established patients, post operative patients
  • Will occasionally help in the Orthopedic Injury clinic during regular hours
  • Potential to include clinic at an outlying satellite location

Qualifications:

  • ACNP, FNP, PA
  • Orthopedic experience/exposure to sports medicine and treatment
  • General Orthopedics knowledge for treatment of fractures/acute injuries.
  • 2-3 years' experience preferred but will consider a new grad with Strong interest in Orthopedics.
