What You’ll Do:
  • Provide first assist coverage for adult cardiac surgeries, including CABG, valve repairs, aortic surgeries, and more
  • Assist during cardiac procedures such as sternotomies and endoscopic vein harvesting
  • Collaborate with a team of cardiac surgeons and intensivists to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Support perioperative processes, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes
  • Assist with emergent and scheduled adult cardiac surgeries in an academic hospital setting
  • Manage intraoperative care for complex cases, including mechanical circulatory support procedures
  • Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
What You Need:Required:
  • MO State Nursing License
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of independent adult cardiac surgery OR first assist experience
  • Must be board-certified in relevant specialty
Preferred:
  • RNFA certification
  • Experience with complex adult cardiac procedures and intraoperative support
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
