What You’ll Do
  • Assist cardiothoracic surgeons during adult heart and chest surgeries.
  • Support the surgical team in the operating room, including robot-assisted procedures.
  • Participate in preoperative and postoperative patient care activities.
  • Manage documentation and ensure compliance using Epic EMR.
  • Provide emergency call support on a 1:5 basis, including overnight shifts.
  • Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
What You Need
Required:
  • Active Wisconsin Physician Assistant license
  • Board certification in PA
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a PA, with at least one year as a first assist in CVOR/cardiac surgery
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • DEA license

Preferred:
  • Experience with robotic surgical techniques
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
