What You’ll Do- Assist cardiothoracic surgeons during adult heart and chest surgeries.
- Support the surgical team in the operating room, including robot-assisted procedures.
- Participate in preoperative and postoperative patient care activities.
- Manage documentation and ensure compliance using Epic EMR.
- Provide emergency call support on a 1:5 basis, including overnight shifts.
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
What You NeedRequired: - Active Wisconsin Physician Assistant license
- Board certification in PA
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a PA, with at least one year as a first assist in CVOR/cardiac surgery
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- DEA license
Preferred: - Experience with robotic surgical techniques
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
