Were seeking a passionate and driven Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Care team in Whitehall, Michigan. Opportunity Details

• Position Type:Full time (1.0 FTE)
• Schedule:12-hour shifts (8am to 8pm) with some variability possible.
  • Operational hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm, and Saturday 8am to 2pm
  • Position would include every other weekend and holiday rotations
• Location: Whitehall, MI
• Specialty:Urgent Care
• Team Size:3 budgeted and several per diem providers along with assistance from resident moonlighters
• Typical procedures:
  • Sprains and strains
  • Stitches
  • Rashes
  • Cold and Flu Symptoms
  • Tooth Pain
  • Sore Throat
  • Pink eye
  • Lower back pain
  • Animal or insect bite
  • Urinary tract infection

• Additional details: Very busy urgent care with a great team and a variety of patients.

Requirements

• Provider experience preferred
• Board certified prior to employment
• Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA license

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

• Providing direct patient care
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Participating in teaching and mentoring
• Documenting in Epic EMR
• Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
• Supporting community health efforts
