What You’ll Do: - Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care to approximately 12-15 patients daily.
- Collaborate with three established HemOnc providers, plus a skilled team of RNs, a PA/NP, and office staff.
- Conduct consultations, treatment planning, and management of patients with various hematological and oncological conditions.
- Respond to light on-call duties via beeper, focusing on established patient phone consultations with a 1-hour response time.
- Utilize the Aria EMR system for documentation and patient management.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions and contribute to the ongoing quality improvement of the practice.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and company policies.
What You Need: - Active VA medical license in good standing
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, completing or completed Hematology and Oncology fellowship
- Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience preferred
- Strong communication, diagnostic, and patient management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-provider team
Preferred: - Long-term commitment, with driving distance candidates highly valued
- Prior experience in outpatient oncology settings
