What You’ll Do
- Provide inpatient care and manage new inpatient consults at Stafford Hospital and Mary Washington Healthcare in Fredericksburg.
- Evaluate and treat patients with infectious diseases, ensuring high-quality clinical care.
- Collaborate with hospital staff and multidisciplinary teams to develop patient treatment plans.
- Take call for new inpatient consults, ensuring timely and effective patient management.
- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records.
- Participate in hospital rounds and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Medical License in Virginia
- Inpatient Infectious Disease experience or equivalent
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience with hospital-based infectious disease management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
