Primary Care Section Chief – Panama City Beach CBOC

Salary Range: $280,000–$335,000
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm

Position Overview

Lead Primary Care operations at the Panama City Beach Community-Based Outpatient Clinic. This role blends leadership and clinical practice, with up to 50% dedicated to direct patient care. The Section Chief oversees clinical staff performance, supports quality improvement initiatives, and ensures high?quality care for Veterans.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide clinical oversight for Primary Care physicians, PAs, and NPs
• Manage clinic operations and support performance improvement activities
• Conduct annual proficiency evaluations for primary care clinicians
• Serve as a role model in patient care and clinical practice
• Manage scheduled/unscheduled patients within Primary Care and Women’s Health
• Participate in strategic projects or initiatives as needed

Requirements

• MD or DO with an active U.S. medical license (any state/territory)
• Must qualify for and maintain privileges with Gulf Coast VA  Health Care System
