- Shift: 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week operations, 8a–8p
- Hours/week: 3 shifts/wk, total of 9 shifts per week

- Required Licenses/Certs: Valid PA license in VA, BLS/ACLS (if applicable)
- Experience: Prior urgent care or outpatient experience preferred

What You’ll Do - Provide urgent care services for patients of all ages, including:
- Laceration repairs, suturing, and stapling
- Incision and drainage (I&D), foreign body removal
- Minor burn treatment, skin lesion care
- Orthopedic injury stabilization, splinting, and casting
- Joint reduction and trauma management
- Diagnostic & point-of-care testing (including EKG, rapid strep, flu, COVID-19, RSV, blood tests)
- Nosebleed management (anterior nasal packing, cautery)
- Cerumen impaction removal
- Airway support and emergency stabilization
- Document all patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR
What You Need - Active PA license in Virginia
- Minimum of 1-2 years of outpatient or urgent care experience
- Strong clinical skills in suturing, I&D, orthopedics, and diagnostics
- Ability to manage a diverse patient population, birth to death
About the AssignmentThis assignment involves working across multiple outpatient clinics, providing episodic urgent care services with higher acuity patients being referred for advanced care. The team values efficient, compassionate care and seeks providers who excel in fast-paced environments. Credentialing typically takes 60–90 days, and local candidates are preferred, as travel reimbursement is not provided.
