- Shift: 12+ hour shifts, 7 days/week operations (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM)
- Hours/Week: 3 shifts per week (~36 hours)
- Employment: Locum with potential for permanent conversion
- Licensure & Certifications: Valid Nurse Practitioner license in VA, BLS/ACLS preferred
- Experience: Previous urgent care experience preferred

What You’ll Do - Provide urgent care services including triage, diagnosis, and treatment for patients from birth to death
- Perform procedures such as suturing, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, skin lesion care, and splinting
- Administer minor burn treatments and manage airway support as needed
- Interpret diagnostic tests including EKGs and point-of-care lab results
- Manage epistaxis with nasal packing or cautery, cerumen impaction removal
- Document all patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR system
- Collaborate with team members to ensure quality patient care
What You Need - Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia
- Ability to perform procedures such as suturing, I&D, and splinting
- Experience in urgent care or emergency settings preferred
- Strong clinical skills in acute patient assessment and treatment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
