- End Date: Ongoing until a permanent provider is hired
- Shift: 12-hour shifts, 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, 3 days per week
- Hours/Week: 36 hours
- Employment Type: Locum, with possibility to become permanent
- Licenses/Certifications: Valid Nurse Practitioner license in VA (or eligible)
- Experience: Prior urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred

What You’ll Do
- Provide urgent care to diverse patient populations (birth to death) in outpatient clinics
- Perform procedures such as suturing, I&D, foreign body removal, splinting, and minor burn management
- Conduct diagnostic testing including EKGs, rapid strep, flu, COVID-19, and urinalysis
- Manage nosebleeds, cerumen impaction, and airway support as needed
- Interpret X-Rays and point-of-care lab results, and guide patient treatment plans
- Document all patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR
- Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care
What You Need
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia (or eligible)
- At least 1-2 years of urgent care or ER experience preferred
- Strong procedural and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient setting
