Shift Availability
- Flexible scheduling with a focus on weekday (Monday – Friday) coverage
- Typical clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, with 1 additional hour for administrative time and/or lunch
- Minimum shift commitment: 16+ Hours per Week
- Optional evening and weekend coverage available

Position Highlights
As an Outpatient Tele neurologist, you will provide comprehensive virtual neurological care across a wide range of conditions while building longitudinal patient relationships in a fully remote setting.
- Provide virtual outpatient neurology consultations, new-patient visits, and follow-ups — focused on general neurology, with the opportunity to subspecialize based on your interest and partnering health system needs
- Conduct virtual consultations, follow-ups, and care plan management
- Utilize Sevaro’s clinical platform, Synapse, with workflow and exposure in the health system’s native EHR
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a flexible environment — making a real difference in care delivery and patient access
- Practice with autonomy while supported by comprehensive on-site and virtual care teams
Position Responsibilities
- Provide virtual outpatient neurology consultations, new-patient visits, and follow-ups — focused on general neurology, with the opportunity to subspecialize based on your interest and partnering health system needs
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of neurological conditions, building longitudinal patient relationships and owning outcomes over time
- Develop and manage individualized, long-term care plans in alignment with Sevaro and health system quality standards — including documentation, coding, and a strong patient experience delivered under the health system’s brand
- Lead each visit by video with support from on-site clinical staff and virtual team members (Virtual MA/Scheduler and Virtual RN), as available or assigned, directing on-site staff to assist with hands-on parts of the neurologic exam
- Document encounters and place orders, referrals, and after-visit summaries in Synapse and the partner health system’s EHR, keeping imaging, labs, and downstream care in-network
- Collaborate with referring providers, on-site teams, and Sevaro’s operations, onboarding, and quality partners
- Support transition-of-care and timely follow-up that close care gaps and reduce avoidable readmissions
- Represent Sevaro in every patient and partner interaction — embodying our culture of selfless service, collaboration, and compassionate, patient-centered care
Position Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Strong experience in outpatient/general neurology required
- Subspecialty experience preferred — stroke & cerebrovascular, headache & migraine, epilepsy & seizure, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, neuromuscular, or memory
- Excellent communication and patient engagement skills
- Comfortable using HIPAA-compliant video platforms, EMRs, and digital tools
- Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Prior telemedicine experience preferred but not required
