  • Experience: Cardiac surgery, ICU, or equivalent preferred; specific skills include endoscopic/endovenous harvesting, interpretation of EKGs, imaging, and advanced cardiac intervention support
Pay & Benefits
  • Hourly Rate: $1.00 (please note, this rate is provided; actual pay will be discussed upon application)

What You'll Do
  • Rounding on inpatients post-operation
  • First assist in cardiothoracic surgeries
  • Conduct patient evaluations in inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Interpret cardiac imaging, labs, EKGs, and diagnostic tests like ECMO, IABP, Impella
  • Provide coverage during scheduled shifts and on-call periods (night and weekend)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex cardiac cases
What You Need
Required:
  • Active California PA license and DEA
  • Board-certified in cardiothoracic surgery or related field
  • Experience in cardiac intensive care, surgery assist, or inpatient cardiology
  • Skills in EKG interpretation, cardiac imaging, and critical care procedures

Preferred:
  • Experience with endoscopic and radial artery harvesting
  • Familiarity with advanced cardiac devices (ECMO, IABP, Impella)
