About the Role
TeleMed2U is seeking an experienced, patient-centered Endocrinologist to join our growing virtual specialty care team in a full-time capacity. This fully remote opportunity allows you to deliver high-quality, evidence-based, longitudinal endocrine care through an innovative telehealth platform while enjoying a healthy work-life balance.
This is a rare opportunity. TeleMed2U is creating a new Menopause Subdivision within our Endocrinology Division, and we're looking for the physician to found and lead it. Opportunities to build a clinical subdivision from scratch don't come around often. You'll start by building your own patient panel, then build out a care team as volume grows. Once this subdivision is built and staffed, this specific opportunity won't exist again. You'll work directly alongside the Director of Endocrinology, who will support and mentor you along the way, but the subdivision is yours to build.
The position includes a 37-hour clinical workweek and opportunities to provide APP supervision, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary care team to manage both chronic and complex endocrine conditions using evidence-based medicine.
What You Will Do
- Found and lead the Menopause Subdivision: define its scope, structure, and growth plan alongside the Director of Endocrinology
- Build your own patient panel from the ground up, providing evidence-based care for perimenopause, menopause, and related hormonal conditions via telehealth
- Build the clinical pathways and treatment protocols the subdivision runs on, covering hormone therapy and non-hormonal options
- As patient volume grows, build and lead a pod of NPs/PAs: clinical oversight, case review, and day-to-day decision support
- Own quality and outcomes for the subdivision as it scales, with direct input into its long-term direction
- Provide clinical oversight and supervision for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), as applicable
- Document all patient encounters accurately and timely within the EMR- AdvMD
- Collaborate with other specialists and care team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
- Maintain compliance with TeleMed2U clinical protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
