Job Summary

Viking Anesthesia, an Orthopedic Care Partners (OCP) company, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join our team serving premier orthopedic ambulatory surgery centers throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area.

This is an outstanding opportunity to practice in a highly specialized, orthopedic-only environment with an exceptional work-life balance. Physicians enjoy no hospital responsibilities, no call, no nights, and no weekends, while working alongside experienced CRNAs in efficient, high-quality outpatient surgery centers.

Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Practice Highlights

• Practice exclusively in orthopedic ambulatory surgery centers
• Three ASC locations throughout West St. Louis and St. Charles Counties
• Employed by Viking Anesthesia, an Orthopedic Care Partners company
• $2700/day
• No hospital coverage
• No call
• No nights
• No weekends
• Typical schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Supervise experienced CRNAs and perform regional nerve blocks
• Rarely required to personally staff anesthetic cases
• Flexible part-time opportunities available for vacation coverage and intermittent scheduling
• Independent contractor (1099) opportunity

Qualified Candidates

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Experience performing ultrasound-guided regional nerve blocks is required
• Comfortable supervising CRNAs in an outpatient surgical setting
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• Eligible for Missouri medical licensure
