Pulmonology Disease and Sleep Medicine specialist needed in Corning, New York!

Highlights of the Opportunity

• Pulmonary Disease / Sleep Medicine practice opportunity
• Practice supported by multi-site Sleep Center network with private rooms for overnight polysomnography and at-home sleep study capabilities
• Diagnostic team of respiratory therapists, registered polysomnographic technologists and polysomnographic technicians
• Complement your sleep practice with inpatient and outpatient pulmonary medicine, with optional involvement in interventional pulmonology, robotic bronchoscopy, EBUS, and lung volume reduction surgery (LVRS) 
• Enjoy collaborative, multidisciplinary care through Guthrie's Pulse Center, bringing together pulmonary, critical care, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and subspecialty services for complex cardiopulmonary and sleep-disordered breathing patients 
• Epic EMR across our integrated system
• Teaching opportunities with Guthrie’s PCCM Fellowship and residency programs
• Strong administrative and operational support so you can focus on clinical excellence

Candidate Requirements 

• Board Certified in Pulmonary Disease (ABIM)
• Fellowship-trained in Sleep Medicine with board certification or board eligibility 
• MD or DO 
• Valid Pennsylvania and New York medical licenses or eligibility to obtain

Comprehensive Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range $361,000 - $448,000 base compensation
• 6 weeks paid time off plus paid holidays and sick leave

• Meeting time - 14 days with options for home study 1 week of CME is convertible to additional PTO at your discretion
• $3,400 annually for conference registration certifications membership fees for specialty-specific medical societies
• Teaching opportunities with Guthrie's residency and fellowship programs offer the opportunity for clinical academic appointments. Guthrie is a regional campus for the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine
