- Provide hospitalist coverage for adult patients during night and admit shifts
- Manage patient admissions for a closed ICU, averaging 6-8 admissions per night and 4-6 admissions during the 8-hour admit shift
- Document patient care using Epic EMR software
- Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Adhere to hospital protocols for admitting and managing adult patients
- Support hospital operations and patient flow during scheduled shifts
Required:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Massachusetts medical license or willingness to obtain
- DEA license
- Minimum 1-year hospitalist experience
- Valid certifications in ACLS, PALS, NRP (or willingness to obtain)
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a hospital setting with Epic EMR
