Physician - Rheumatology

St. Marys Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified Rheumatologist to help grow our expanding Rheumatology program. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a well-established practice dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients with musculoskeletal, autoimmune, and connective tissue disorders.

OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

• Join and established team consisting of one Rheumatologist and one Advanced Practice Provider.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of rheumatic diseases, including musculoskeletal, autoimmune, and connective tissue disorders.
• Primary clinic location in Athens, Georgia, with scheduled outreach coverage at our satellite clinic in Greensboro/Lake Oconee, Georgia.
• Opportunity to server patients throughout Northeast Georgia while helping expand access to rheumatology services to underserved communities.
• Call Requirement: 1:3 outpatient phone call coverage only.
• Outpatient-only General Rheumatology practice with no hospital rounding responsibilities.
• Standard Monday through Friday office hours.
• Infusion therapy services are available at both hospital campuses and outpatient infusion facilities.
• Benefit from a large primary care referral network and strong multi-specialty physician partnerships.
• Access to outpatient Bone Density, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Vascular, X-Ray and in house laboratory services.
• Opportunity to teach Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residents.

Qualifications
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in Georgia
Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physicians field of practice
Accepting J1 & H1B 2028 visa candidates
