Hartford HealthCare is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Emergency Medicine physician to join our exceptional Emergency Department team. Our Emergency Department
Our Emergency Department provides comprehensive emergency care to a diverse patient population with approximately 40,000 visits annually. The department combines the advantages of a community-based practiceincluding a strong team culture and excellent physician retentionwith the resources and specialty access of a large, integrated healthcare system.
Our clinicians benefit from strong nursing and provider support, readily available specialty consultation, and established transfer pathways when patients require a higher level of care.
Winsted Freestanding Emergency Department
Hartford HealthCare also operates a freestanding Emergency Department in Winsted, providing emergency care from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
This provides an additional opportunity for physicians interested in practicing in a smaller, community-focused emergency care setting while remaining connected to the resources of the broader Hartford HealthCare system.
Academic & Professional Opportunities
Physicians interested in education can participate in the training of residents and medical students. There are also opportunities to become involved in departmental leadership, quality improvement, education, and other professional initiatives throughout Hartford HealthCare.
