Physician - Neuro Radiologist

The Renaissance School of Medicine, Stony Brook University, is recruiting Radiologists across multiple specialties.

General Responsibilities:

Clinical Radiologist with fellowship training or equivalent in Neuroradiology to join a busy academic university hospital practice, Level 1 trauma and comprehensive stroke center with 2 full-time neuro interventionalists. Teaching, research, and leadership opportunities available. The hospital has a radiology residency and neuroradiology fellowship as well as a neuro- interventional division.

Open to new or recent Fellowship trained graduates and more senior radiologists. Leadership opportunities available on request.

This is a hybrid position including on-site at the hospital or one of our outpatient imaging centers with flexible work shifts available.

Faculty Appointment Eligibility

Tenure/Non-Tenure Track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. To qualify for tenure faculty appointment, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine (School of Medicine's Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure).

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO (or foreign equivalent) degree
• Licensed, or, eligible for licensure in New York State
• Board Certified/Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
• Completed/soon to complete a Fellowship or equivalent training in Neuroradiologic imaging
