INPATIENT CRITICAL CARE PHYSICIAN Marlborough, Massachusetts | 6 12 Month Assignment | Potential to Extend

Long-Term Locums Opportunity in a Manageable ICU Setting

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Physician for a 100% inpatient assignment in Marlborough, Massachusetts. This is a great opportunity for a physician who enjoys practicing independently in a focused ICU environment with a manageable patient census.

ASSIGNMENT HIGHLIGHTS

• Location: Marlborough, MA

• Setting: 100% Inpatient Critical Care

• Coverage: 6 12 months with potential to extend

• Schedule: 7a 7p with on-call coverage 7p 7a

• 24-hour coverage preferred, but not required

• Patient Census: Typically 6 8 patients

• ICU: 10 beds, with 8 beds currently open

• Coverage Model: Solo physician coverage

• EMR: Epic

• Rates: Market rates

PROCEDURAL OPPORTUNITIES

Physicians should be comfortable with common critical care procedures, including:

• Central lines

• Arterial lines

• Thoracentesis

• Chest tubes

• Paracentesis

• Intubation, if desired

Equipment available: AmbuScope for bedside procedures and GlideScope for intubation.

Additional support: ED and Anesthesia coverage is available for intubations.

CREDENTIALING REQUIREMENTS

• Active Massachusetts medical license Required

• Critical Care Fellowship Required

• Active DEA

• CSR

• Critical Care / ICU experience
