Critical Care APPs - ready to step into a hands-on Adult ICU role where your skills and procedural experience matter?
We re seeking an experienced ICU Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a 13-week locum tenens assignment in Farmington, Connecticut. This is a high-acuity Adult ICU opportunity offering 36 hours per week, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to independently manage critically ill patients while working alongside an experienced interdisciplinary team.
WHY THIS ASSIGNMENT STANDS OUTThis is a true hands-on Critical Care APP position for an NP or PA who is comfortable independently evaluating and managing high-acuity adult patients.
You'll assess and diagnose patients, develop treatment plans, order and interpret diagnostic studies, manage medications and therapies, perform invasive bedside procedures, and coordinate care with the broader ICU team.
With an average census of approximately 12-15 patients per shift, you'll work alongside another APP and nursing staff, with attending physician and fellow support.
