The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, Department of Family and Preventive Medicine is looking for experienced full-time, board-certified family physicians who are passionate, love to teach, are interested in research, and want to make a di erence in the lives of students, residents and physicians along with patients, families and the community. The successful candidate will be a graduate of an accredited College of Medicine, possess or be eligible for an unrestricted Oklahoma medical license, preferably with at least two years of practice experience or fellowship training. This position will be at the rank of Assistant Professor within the Department. Our department is a fully integrated member of a major academic health center that includes 2 major hospitals, 7 health-care related colleges, a large biotechnology center, and several other major health-care related organizations on its campus. Our department is composed of one family medicine residency program and clinic training 38 residents a year, one fellowship program, a 27-month master’s level physician associate program training up to 50 students a year, department faculty coordination of two required and three elective medical school courses, and a nationally recognized primary care research program involving over 250 Oklahoma primary care practices. The department’s clinics are all designated as patient-centered medical homes seeing nearly 50,000 outpatients annually.
