Pay & Benefits:
- Hourly Pay Rate: $143.38

What You’ll Do:
- Provide specialized inpatient/acute care in neurosurgery, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Support surgical and non-surgical patients, assisting with wound care, suturing, and complex wound management
- Assist with procedures like lumbar punctures, ICP monitoring, EVD placement, lumbar drains, and surgical care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including MDs, RNs, and MAs
- Document patient care procedures and outcomes using Epic EMR system
- Support rounding and patient management before clinic hours
- Maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and patient confidentiality
What You Need:
Required: - Active South Carolina license
- Board Certification in Neurosurgery
- Clean background check
Preferred: - Prior experience in neurosurgery or acute care settings
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
About the Assignment:
Join a dedicated team supporting a busy Neurosurgery unit at a leading facility in Greenville. The position involves providing inpatient neurosurgical coverage with a focus on complex wound management, diagnostic procedures, and perioperative care in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with a team of six MDs, one RN, and four MAs, contributing to exceptional patient outcomes.
