ACADEMIC GASTROENTEROLOGIST - Clinical. Fellow Support. $30k Sign On Bonus, $100k Loan Repayment & Fellowship Stipend Potential

In partnership with the University of Arizona, Banner University Medical Center Tucson has an outstanding opportunity for a BE/BC Gastroenterologist. Join the established Division of Gastroenterology at top rated teaching hospital, under the newly formed Banner Digestive Health Service Line.

Our goal is to provide comprehensive, integrated digestive health care across the spectrum of patient needs and serve as destination tertiary care provider. This includes:

Ambulatory GI service line - General GI physicians, fellows, and APPs with additional support from GI Hospitalists, Interventional Endoscopy, & subspecialities such as Motility, DGBI, Hepatology, and IBD.

General GI consults and ambulatory cases with Fellow and APP support at a single clinic site

Flexible schedule, open access endoscopy from primary care, and a large Fellow and APP work force to support the practice.

Weekdays with some night and weekend call duty.

On-Site, hospital-based endoscopy suites for procedures

PRACTICE HIGHLIGHTS

Group Type: Multispecialty, Academic Medicine

Employment Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE), Inpatient/Outpatient mix

Team: Collaborate with 6 General Gastroenterologists, 3 Interventional Gastroenterologists, 10 Fellows, 3-6 Nurse Practitioners, and supportive staff

Practice Setting: Mainly ambulatory with equal call rotation on Gastroenterology patients. General GI procedures, colonoscopies, EGD.

Daily Patient Load: clinical 16-20 patients; procedural 12-14 patients.

Schedule: Weekdays 7am-5pm

Call Duty: 1:12 hospital call; paid excess call
