Orthopedic Walk-In Clinic APP (PRN)

Community Health Network is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Community Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Walk in Clinic in a PRN role at our Noblesville location. This position provides flexibility while offering the opportunity to practice independently in a fast-paced orthopedic setting with support from an on-call orthopedic surgeon.
Highlights
PRN position with a minimum commitment of two shifts per month and Opportunity to work up to one evening shift per week
Evening clinic hours: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM, open Monday Friday
Practice in a community-based orthopedic walk-in clinic serving a heavy pediatric patient population
Average patient volume of approximately 4-5 patients per shift
Independent practice environment with orthopedic surgeon support available on call
Opportunity to expand into a float surgical and clinic coverage role to assist with provider PTO coverage
Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat acute orthopedic injuries and musculoskeletal conditions
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans
Independently interpret and manage orthopedic imaging, perform minor orthopedic procedures within scope of practice, diagnose & provide treatment plans and follow-up care
Coordinate care with orthopedic surgeons and specialty providers as needed
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum of 3-5 years of APP experience required in Orthopedics, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Sports Medicine, or related specialty
Pediatric experience is highly desirable due to the patient population
Eligible for Indiana NP or PA licensure
