Covenant HealthCare is seeking a compassionate, board-certified or board-eligible Rheumatologist to join our growing medical group in a newly created full-time role. As the regions extraordinary leader in healthcare, Covenant is expanding specialty services to meet increasing community demand for comprehensive rheumatologic care. This new position offers an exceptional opportunity to build a robust clinical practice with full support from an established health system and robust referral network.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality diagnostic evaluation, ongoing clinical management, and treatment plans for patients with rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, vasculitis, gout, and other autoimmune and inflammatory conditions.
Collaborate closely with primary care providers, orthopedics, physical therapy, and other subspecialties to deliver integrated patient care.
Maintain complete and accurate patient documentation in the electronic health record system (Epic).
Qualifications
Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Training: Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency and a Rheumatology fellowship.
Licensure & Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology; eligible for an unrestricted Michigan medical license and state/federal controlled substance registrations.
Skills: Excellent clinical acumen, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
