Baptist Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our growing behavioral health team as an Outpatient Geriatric Psychiatrist in Jacksonville, Florida. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for geriatric patients
- Manage conditions including depression, anxiety, dementia-related behavioral concerns, cognitive disorders, and other late-life psychiatric illnesses
- Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based approaches
- Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, and behavioral health professionals throughout the Baptist Health network
- Maintain high standards of documentation, quality, and patient-centered care
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Fellowship training in Geriatric Psychiatry preferred, but not required
- Residents and fellows are encouraged to apply
- Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain one
- DEA license required
