Physician - Psychiatry - Child & Adolescent

Valley Health is seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our growing, comprehensive behavioral health program at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia. This is an exciting opportunity to join a strong interdisciplinary team and help shape the continued growth of child and adolescent behavioral health services at Valley Health.

The position will be based in our new Behavioral Health Pavilion, opening on the Winchester Medical Center campus in October 2026. Designed to expand access to behavioral health care in a welcoming, integrated setting, the Pavilion will bring together psychiatry, psychology, therapy, intensive outpatient care, and substance use services under one roof.

Our established continuum of care serves youth ages 5–17 and offers the opportunity to collaborate across medication management, individual and family therapy, Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program (MH IOP), substance use treatment, peer recovery services, and school and community partnerships. With a multidisciplinary team and expanding services, the incoming physician will have a meaningful opportunity to help develop and grow child and adolescent programming for the region.

• Monday–Friday weekday schedule; No call required

Qualifications:

• MD, DO, or equivalent degree
• Board certified or board eligible
• Board certification/eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
