Position Overview
Mercy Health Tiffin is seeking a BE/BC OB/GYN physician to join our collaborative and patient-centered team serving women throughout Tiffin and the surrounding communities.
This is a flexible opportunity designed to meet the needs and preferences of the physician, with options for a traditional OB/GYN practice, or a laborist model. Under the laborist model our need is for a physician who can provide a minimum of 10 days of OB call coverage per month, with opportunities to tailor the schedule based on the physician's availability and practice interests. Will also engage in virtual midwife collaboration.
The position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality obstetric and gynecologic care in a supportive community hospital environment, with strong collaboration among physicians, advanced practice providers, and midwifery services.

Practice & Opportunity Highlights
• Minimum 10 days per month of OB call coverage for a laborist model
• Call-only and laborist opportunities are available for physicians seeking a more focused inpatient OB role.
• Traditional outpatient OB/GYN practice opportunities may also be available for physicians interested in a broader scope of care.
• Provide 24-hour OB call coverage at Mercy Health Tiffin Hospital.
• Deliver newborns and provide inpatient OB/GYN consultations as needed.
• Perform GYN surgical procedures, including C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and robotic surgery.
• Opportunity for virtual collaboration with midwives to support continuity of care and enhance access for patients.
• Outreach coverage in Willard may be available one day per week for physicians interested in additional outpatient opportunities.
• Virtual visit options are available to enhance patient access and care.
• Work within a collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on exceptional women's health services.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care in the ambulatory and hospital settings, based on the physician's selected practice model.
• Provide OB hospital call coverage, including evaluation and management of laboring patients.
• Perform newborn deliveries, C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and other indicated obstetric procedures.
• Provide inpatient OB/GYN consultations as needed.
• Perform appropriate GYN surgical procedures, including robotic surgery.
• Collaborate with midwives, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and other members of the care team.
• Participate in virtual midwife collaboration when applicable.
• Support the ongoing growth and development of women's health services within the Tiffin community.
Qualifications
• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Active or eligible medical license in the state of Ohio.
• Ability to provide independent OB/GYN care and hospital call coverage.
• Surgical proficiency, including C-sections and vaginal deliveries; robotic surgical experience preferred for physicians pursuing a broader clinical role.
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
