What You’ll Do:
  • Support cardiothoracic surgeons with adult patient care and surgical procedures
  • Examine patients, formulate diagnoses, develop treatment plans
  • Perform endoscopic vein and radial artery harvests
  • Place and remove chest tubes, central lines, arterial lines
  • Intubate and extubate patients; assist with robotic lung procedures (preferred but not required)
  • Document patient progress and surgical outcomes in Epic EMR
  • Collaborate with surgical team and support staff to ensure optimal patient care

What You Need:
  • Active state license and board certification in nursing
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • 1-2 years of CT surgery experience, including first-assist in CVOR
  • Ability to pass credentialing and privileging within 60 days
