Opportunity Details

• Position Type: Full time, 1.0 cFTE Gastroenterology Hospitalist
• Schedule: Team offers flexibility in scheduling structure, including the opportunity for a traditional 7-on/7-off model or a weekday-focused schedule with a weekend rotation
• Location: Grand Rapids, MI
• Specialty: Gastroenterology
• Hospital Info: Trinity Health Grand Rapids
• Team Size: Currently 6 physicians with postings for 2 additional specialists (total 8) + 6 APPs
• Teaching Opportunities: Yes - Residents, Medical Students, Fellows

Requirements

• Open to new grads
• Board certified in their respective clinical specialty or must achieve board certification within the timeframe defined by the applicable specialty board.
• Gastroenterology Fellowship required
• Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA license

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

• Providing direct patient care
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Participating in teaching and mentoring
• Documenting in Epic EMR
• Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
• Supporting community health efforts
