Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine / Family Medicine) - VA Clinic | Mankato, MN
Aptive Resources is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to provide outpatient primary care services to Veterans at the Lyle C. Pearson VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Mankato, Minnesota. This physician will manage an established patient panel, delivering comprehensive preventive, chronic, and acute care while helping address a critical provider shortage within the Minneapolis VA Health Care System. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to adult Veteran patients
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies
- Coordinate care with specialists and multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct preventative health screenings and annual wellness visits
- Document patient encounters in the VA electronic health record (CPRS)
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active, unrestricted Minnesota medical license
- Current DEA registration
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience in outpatient primary care preferred
