Nurse Practitioner - Oncology

Saint Agnes Medical Providers, in partnership with Saint Agnes Health, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our expanding and comprehensive oncology program in Fresno, California. This position offers the opportunity to practice across Hematology/Oncology, Medical Oncology, and Radiation Oncology within a collaborative, multidisciplinary cancer care team.

As an Oncology APP, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals throughout their cancer journey. Working alongside medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons, nurses, navigators, and other specialists, you will help provide exceptional clinical care while contributing to the continued growth and excellence of our cancer program.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage oncologic conditions under physician supervision in collaboration with the care team.
• Perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medication, and manage treatment-related side effects.
• Provide supportive care, survivorship care, and patient / family education in collaboration with the Oncology Team.
• Coordinate care across specialties to ensure seamless, evidence-based treatment delivery.
• Document clinical encounters accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient experience programs, and cancer center process enhancements.
• Support program development and growth initiatives that advance oncology services throughout the community.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of California (or eligibility).
• Graduate of an accredited program
• National board certification.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
