We have a Full-time Emergency Medicine Physician opportunity to join our talented & stable team as we increase coverage and staffing in preparation for a NEW ED opening in January 2025 at UK King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY! This award-winning hospital was just recognized as a "Best Place to Work in Kentucky for 2024"! We recently increased our compensation package plus we are offering a $50,000 bonus to work a minimum of 10 shifts per month. A NEW ED with 75 exam rooms is officially under construction and scheduled for an early 2025 opening!
Position Profile:
- 65,000 annual ED volume
- 52 beds (all private), with 49 main, 2 Trauma, & 1 Psych
- Additional 10 bed overflow unit
- 12 hour physician shifts
- Daily APP coverage with an experienced APP team
- EPIC EMR with Scribes
- Stroke Center with 24 hour stroke team
- 24 hour Cath Lab
- Physician Qualifications: Must be EM-trained & BC through ABEM/AOBEM
