Cleveland Clinic, one of the worlds most distinguished academic medical centers and ranked by U.S. News & World Report announces a search for a Pediatric Psychologist specializing in Autism Assessment in our growing Division of Psychology in the Department of Pediatric Behavioral Health and Neurosciences.

Primary Duties: This position will support our growing Center for Autism and other outpatient services. The center provides a range of clinical services for children and their families to include diagnostic evaluation, outpatient therapeutic services, a specialized educational program, and consultation services. The center also has an active clinical research program supported by several federal grants. The primary role for this psychologist will be to provide outpatient evaluation and consultation with potential for some outpatient treatment.
Other Opportunities: There are opportunities to actively participate in research and program development / leadership as we continue to grow. This psychologist may also participate in supervising masters level providers. There are also opportunities for program development and integration of clinical and quality improvement research.
Being a staff psychologist at the Cleveland Clinic also offers opportunities in program development and implementation, and opportunities for teaching learners from a variety of health disciplines. Staff may also participate in our Psychology Fellowship Program and our APA-accredited Psychology Residency Program.
Faculty Appointment: Employment at the Cleveland Clinic allows for opportunities in research and professional development. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. Board Certification via the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP), which is required to advance from Associate Staff to Full Staff, is fully supported and funded by the Cleveland Clinic Childrens Institute.
Qualifications: Doctorate in clinical, counseling, or school psychology, with APA approved internship, licensure in Ohio and at least one year of post-doctoral experience in a clinical child or pediatric psychology setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the evaluation of Autism Spectrum Disorder and the implementation of evidenced-based intervention approaches with individuals and families.
